Assembly Technologies

Our assembly capabilities support a wide range of electronic designs, from conventional board assemblies to complex mixed-technology products.

SMT Assembly

High-speed surface mount placement for standard and fine-pitch designs.

Through-Hole Assembly

Wave and manual insertion for components that need mechanical strength.

BGA Assembly

Ball grid array reflow for high-density processor and logic packages.

Fine-Pitch Assembly

Controlled paste and placement for tight-pitch, small-body components.

Mixed-Technology Assembly

SMT and THT combined on a single board, sequenced for yield.

Automated optical inspection station

Quality Built Into Every Stage

Quality starts before components reach the production line. We combine incoming inspection, process controls, automated inspection, electrical testing, and functional testing to help ensure consistent product performance.

  • Incoming InspectionComponents verified before they reach the line
  • Process ControlsParameters locked and monitored in production
  • Automated InspectionAOI and SPI catch defects early
  • Electrical TestingCircuit-level verification of every board
  • Functional TestingBoards validated against real operating conditions

From Prototype to Volume Production

Production requirements change as your product matures. We support prototype builds, pilot production, and volume manufacturing while maintaining process consistency throughout the transition.

Prototype Builds

Fast-turn assembly for early validation and design feedback.

Pilot Production

Small-batch runs that de-risk process and yield before scale-up.

Volume Manufacturing

Scalable production with consistent quality and lead times.

One process, every stage. The same standards and controls carry your product from the first prototype board to full volume — no re-qualification, no surprises at scale-up.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is included in a PCB assembly service?

Typical scope: engineering data review, solder paste printing, SPI, SMT placement, reflow soldering, AOI, THT insertion and soldering, X-ray inspection, electrical and functional test, rework, and final inspection. The exact flow varies by product.

Can you review my BOM before quoting?

Yes. We check part numbers, descriptions, packages, quantities, alternates, lifecycle, and supply status so procurement and production can execute accurately — and so the quote is right the first time.

Do you support prototype assembly?

Yes. Prototype assembly targets the early validation stage: the focus is on quickly validating design, process, function, and manufacturability — not simply on unit cost.

What inspection do you perform on assemblies?

SPI checks the solder paste, AOI checks visible components and joints, and X-ray covers hidden joints such as BGA. The combination is defined per product in the test plan.

What files do you need for a quote?

Gerber files (describing copper, solder mask, and silkscreen layers), BOM, pick-and-place file, assembly drawing, and test requirements. The more complete the data, the more accurate the quote and engineering evaluation.
