How to Choose a PCBA Manufacturer

Capability is proven with specific questions — here are the ones that separate a real partner from a brochure.

What This Guide Covers

Choosing a Manufacturer — the questions we get asked most, answered the way our production team answers them.

  • Capability questions worth asking (with our answers)
  • Custom software, OTA and protocol development
  • Safety and environmental compliance in practice
  • Problem analysis on existing boards

Questions & Answers

Can you do high-voltage electric fireplace control?

Yes. We support:

  • AC 110V / 220V control
  • Heating-element control
  • Fan speed control
  • Multi-stage temperature control
  • Relay / triac solutions
Do you support custom software?

Yes, including:

  • MCU firmware development
  • UI logic control
  • APP integration (Tuya / customer’s own system)
  • Custom functional logic (timer / temperature control / scenes)
How is voice control implemented? Is it multilingual?

Both offline and online voice solutions are available. We support Chinese, English, and customization for other languages, and can adapt to customer-specified chips.

Can you do 120V products for North America? How is safety compliance guaranteed?

Yes. Our catalog includes a US-spec mobile air-conditioner case. We design to UL/IEC standards, select UL-certified key components, and can support whole-product certification.

Can the flame effect be customized to our required colors and brightness?

Yes. The LED dimming/color-tuning solution is flexible — number of colors, brightness steps, and transition rhythm can all be adjusted to requirement.

Can you place ESP32 modules? Is the BGA placement precision sufficient?

Yes. Mainstream modules and BGA packages can be placed, with AOI inspection and reflow temperature control as safeguards. The specific case is assessed against the PCB design.

How do you guarantee a working temperature range of -20°C to 80°C?

Key devices are all industrial grade, the PCB uses high-Tg material, and the power design is wide-temperature. High/low temperature testing can be run during the sample stage for validation.

How is OTA upgrade implemented — WiFi or Bluetooth?

WiFi is the primary path; Bluetooth is also available. Firmware is delivered from the cloud, with a bootloader partition designed in so a failed upgrade can roll back.

Our current electric fireplace uses plain button control. Can we add WiFi so users can control it remotely via a mobile APP?

Yes. We can evaluate adding WiFi and APP control based on your existing product solution. We will need to confirm the existing PCBA, communication method, and APP functional requirements.

We want a rotary-knob + touch-panel controller — the knob adjusts temperature and selects menus, plus an LED ring light. Can these be integrated?

Yes. All of these functions can be designed and integrated around the product requirements; we would then confirm your operation logic and functional details.

Our product uses three screens showing different content at the same time. Is that possible?

We can evaluate a specific solution based on your display model, resolution, interfaces, and display content. Three different screens requires design around MCU performance, display drivers, and interface resources.

We want an ESP32-S3 control board with WiFi, Bluetooth, touch panel, SD card, and audio — can all of these work together?

Yes. ESP32-S3 supports WiFi and Bluetooth, and the touch panel, SD card, and audio can be configured through the specific interfaces; resource allocation is confirmed against the project requirements.

Our fireplace needs temperature control, overheat protection, and fault detection. Can your control board do all of that?

We can design temperature sensing, heating control, overheat protection, and fault indication around your product requirements; details are confirmed together with the whole-product structure and control logic.

We already have our own APP and communication protocol and don't want a ready-made platform. Can you develop the control board to our protocol?

Yes. We develop the PCBA against your communication protocol and functional requirements, and support hardware-software co-debugging throughout.

We already have a control board, but during testing we found some issues with the touch, display, or motor. Can you help analyze the cause?

Yes. Based on your PCBA, the physical product, the specific abnormal behavior, and test data, we analyze and determine whether the problem is hardware, software, or other — then optimize further.
